Antecedence translates to - preceding in time or order - past in retrograde. The online store focuses on carefully curated vintage homewares and pre-loved fashion pieces, repurposed to be loved once again.

We worked with their team to develop a brand identity that was strong yet delicate. From each touchpoint of the brand, we wanted to invoke a sense of femininity whilst being grounded in strong typography and styling.

During the conception phase, we explored a variety of different mystic and astrological shapes and icons. The two icons that stood out the most was the shell and the moon - which to us symbolised the balance between masculine and feminine.

We couldn’t be prouder of the final designs and can’t wait to get our hands on a few of these pieces for ourselves.
